theft, one of the fastest growing crimes in the United States, occurs
when one person’s identification (which can include name,
Social Security number or any account number) is used by another
person for unlawful activities. The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston
has a new booklet available to help consumers understand what identity
theft is, how to protect themselves and what to do if their identity

a nonprofit organization that fights poverty through microlending,

InSight consists of short, one-topic bulletins that share the results
of the group’s work with the microfinance community. The series

Power and Potential of the Earned Income Tax Credit in 27 Cities

Managing Your CDC: Leadership Strategies
for Changing Times—This new publication examines some
of the problems facing community development corporations (CDCs),
how the problems can seriously affect the organizations and the
approaches CDCs can take to successfully resolve these problems.
